This past Sunday I discovered that I can still listen to one of my favorite Toronto radio programs: The Prophecy on CUIT 89.5 FM. I listened to this show for many years from the mid-1990s until I moved to the Westcoast around 2004. CUIT 89.5 FM was one of the few Toronto radio stations with a signal strong enough to reach where I was living out in the country-side outside of Toronto. It was through this radio program that I was introduced to the jungle and drum-and-bass genre (which is based on the “Amen Break“). Thanks DJ Marcus, DJ Prime, and all the others involved — you’ve help enrich my life musically!
