EarPractice.com was created by Geoff Peters and myself with the goal of helping “you become a better music listener and musician by presenting a series of informative and fun ear training videos.”1 In our second offering, Geoff talks about intervals, in particular, perfect 5ths and minor 7th intervals on the piano. After a short quiz, Geoff shows how the minor 7th interval can be used as an interesting melodic tool (due to it’s slightly dissonant nature) by playing one of his recent original compositions.
More music ear training videos will be posted on EarPractice.com as they become available. Consider following EarPractice on Twitter and on YouTube
