One of the new features in Logic Pro 9 is the Amp Designer. Assuming that you’re not miking your own guitar amps, this opens up the possibility of not having to purchase either a separate software amp simulator or hardware amp simulator for doing direct recordings of your guitar playing into Logic. But how good is Amp Designer? The following YouTube video is a test of Logic Pro 9′s Amp Designer feature for the solo of Time by Pink Floyd.
