EarPractice.com was created by Geoff Peters and myself with the goal of helping “you become a better music listener and musician by presenting a series of informative and fun ear training videos.”1 In our third offering, Geoff talks about intervals, in particular, how to play a tritone (aka Diminished 5th or Augmented 4th) and the major third on the piano.2 After a short quiz, Geoff performs an improvised blues piece on the piano that makes use of many different tritones.
More music ear training videos will be posted on EarPractice.com as they become available. Consider following EarPractice on Twitter and on YouTube.
