Using various versions of Snd and the Common Lisp Music Software, Leif Inge was able to stretch Ludwig van Beethoven’s 9th symphony to 24 hours without pitch distortion. The effect is amazing – a flowing ambient soundscape that retains the intense power and emotion of Beethoven’s original symphony.
